The Digi ConnectCore® 6UL module is an intelligent and networked System-on-Module (SoM) platform based on the NXP i.MX6 UL processor. Turnkey Linux software support makes it a cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications.

The patent-pending Digi SMTplus™ form factor offers a surface mount option for simplified design integration. Choose between the proven edge-molded SMT technology or the versatile LGA option for maximum design flexibility.

The Digi ConnectCore® 6UL module is ideal for various industries, including medical device components and smart grids.

Powerful application processor

Based on the NXP i.MX6UL UltraLite application processor, the module seamlessly integrates dual Ethernet and pre-certified dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) with Bluetooth 5 connectivity. Based on the NXP i.MX6UL application processor, the Digi ConnectCore® 6UL is the most energy-efficient, cost-effective and smallest industrial processor in the i.MX6 family.

Embedded device security is critical, and the Digi ConnectCore® 6UL removes implementation barriers through Digi TrustFence®. This provides a fully integrated secure module platform with complete Linux software support.

With a size of 29 x 29 mm, the module is extremely compact and yet offers outstanding performance for networked devices. Cryptographic and other functions and abilities of Digi TrustFence® Embedded Security Framework are accelerated by embedded NXP i.MX6UL processor. The processor itself is not used as a separate cryptographic module and does not accomplish any cryptographic functions by itself.
