Digi TX64 Dual 5G Dual Wi-Fi – The future of cellular routers for demanding transit and transportation systems
The Digi TX64 sets new standards as an innovative 5G and 4G LTE-Advanced Pro cellular router, specifically designed to meet the challenges of transit and transportation environments. This router combines true enterprise-class routing with best-in-class security, firewall functionality and integrated VPN to ensure robust and reliable connectivity.
With a flexible interface design, the Digi TX64 offers integrated Wi-Fi 6, USB, serial ports and a 4-port Ethernet switch. This versatility enables a wide range of configuration options, including GNSS with untethered dead reckoning (UDR) and support for multiple geofence options.
Optimized internet connection and custom branding
The connection to the internet for passengers is managed securely and without interfering with bus systems. State-of-the-art technologies such as 5G NR, EN DC and Carrier Aggregation enable impressive speeds of up to Gigabit, while always maintaining the priority of on-board systems. Targeted messaging and individual agency branding can be implemented through a proprietary portal and splash page.
Security and efficient network management
Digi Remote Manager® enables cloud-based provisioning and management as well as secure terminal access for out-of-band management of edge devices. The integration of FirstNet Trusted™ and Verizon Frontline support meets the critical needs of first responders in emergency situations. The Digi TX64 is also compliant with the U.S. government cybersecurity standard FIPS 140-2 and relies on the Digi TrustFence® security framework to remain secure from the start and throughout its lifetime.
The reliable circuits support 9 to 36 VDC with ignition detection for direct integration into the vehicle power source. With two cellular and two Wi-Fi modules, the Digi TX64 provides a true segmented traffic flow of private and public data.
