Description
PCIe x16 Gen 4.0 expansion backplane with five slots
The OSS target backplane supports one PCIe Gen4 target adapter installed in the OSS target slot and up to five PCIe x16 expansion cards installed in the expansion slots. The slots are backward compatible and additionally support Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3 cards. OSS target backplanes only support OSS target adapters that have the target slot of the backplane installed. OSS PCIe backplanes support expansion cards that conform to the PCIe PCI-SIG specification. The PCIe x16 Gen4 (5-slot) backplane operates with one ATX power connector (24-pin) and one 8-pin EPS12V connector.
