Description
PCIe x16 Gen 3.0 expansion backplane with five slots
The OSS target backplane supports one PCIe Gen3 target adapter installed in the OSS target slot and up to five PCIe x16 expansion cards installed in the expansion slots. The slots are backward compatible and additionally support Gen1 and Gen2 cards. OSS target backplanes only support OSS target adapters that have the target slot of the backplane installed. OSS PCIe backplanes support expansion cards that conform to the PCIe PCI-SIG specification. The PCIe x16 Gen3 (5-slot) backplane operates with ATX power.
