Description
NRU-160-FT series – Edge AI computers for installation inside sealed enclosures
The NRU-160-FT is a rugged Jetson Orin™ NX/Orin™ Nano-based Edge AI computer engineered with a flat-top heatsink for efficient conduction cooling. It is ideal for installation inside sealed enclosures used in smart agriculture, factory automation, roadside infrastructure, or outdoor mobile robots (AMRs).
Powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX/Orin™ Nano, the NRU-160-FT series delivers up to 100 sparse TOPS (INT8) of AI inference and supports transcoding of up to 18 channels of 1080p video at only 25 W. Designed for flexible camera and sensor integration, it comes in two models: the NRU-161V-FT, featuring six GMSL2 automotive camera inputs with drivers for IMX390, ISX031, and IMX490 CMOS sensors; and the NRU-162S-FT, which provides four PoE+ GbE ports for IP or industrial GigE cameras. An extra M12 GbE port enables high-speed communication with other systems or LiDAR devices.
Built for confined and demanding environments, the compact 199 × 136 × 49 mm system fits easily within mobile platforms or cabinets. Its flat-top design extends heat dissipation through the mounting surface, allowing operation at temperatures typically 10–15 °C lower than ambient enclosure levels. M12 and FAKRA connectors ensure reliable resistance to shock and vibration.
The NRU-160-FT supports an 8–35 V DC input, ignition power control, CAN FD and RS-232 ports, plus expansion options via mini-PCIe and M.2 B-key sockets for 4G/5G or wireless modules.
