NRU-160-AWP series – Rugged edge AI platform for autonomous systems
The NRU-160-AWP series is a compact, fanless AI edge platform specifically designed for mobile, industrial and autonomous systems. Powered by an NVIDIA® Orin™ NX or Orin™ Nano SoM, it delivers high computing power for AI inference, machine vision and sensor fusion. The NRU-160-AWP series is compatible with NVIDIA JetPack and provides an optimized software environment for deep learning and image processing.
Robust and waterproof design for outdoor use
Thanks to its IP66 protection class, the NRU-160-AWP series is dust and waterproof and is ideal for applications in harsh environments – whether in autonomous vehicles, industrial control systems or intelligent surveillance technology. The compact low-profile design (225 x 136 x 55 mm) enables flexible integration into a wide variety of systems.
Optimized connectivity for vehicle and industrial applications
The platform offers two variants with specific connections:
- NRU-161V-AWP: Support for 6x GMSL2 cameras via FAKRA Z connectors for high-resolution video analytics
- NRU-162S-AWP: 4x PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet ports via M12 X-coded connectors for connecting IP cameras and sensors
In addition, 1x CAN FD and 1x RS232 are reserved via M12 A-coded connections for vehicle and industrial communication.
Reliable operation under extreme conditions
The NRU-160-AWP series operates fanless in a temperature range from -25°C to 70°C without throttling performance at 70°C in 20W TDP mode. Thanks to the wide DC input voltage of 8V to 35V with integrated ignition control, the system is ideal for vehicle applications and mobile AI edge computing solutions.
