10Gbps USB interfaces for 3D camera integration
The BOXER-8642AI has eight independent USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with 10Gbps, enabling the connection of up to six Intel® RealSense™ D405 3D cameras. These provide depth output in a resolution of 1280 x 720 at 30fps. Thanks to this high bandwidth, Smart Checkouts can capture more images per second without compromising on data stability or quality. Integrating the depth sensing technology of the 3D cameras with the advanced classification capabilities of the NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Orin™ (275 TOPS AI performance) enables the BOXER-8642AI to accurately recognize products at self-checkout and perform real-time cost calculations. The result is a smooth shopping experience without long waiting times.
Developed to meet the challenges of smart retail
With a power supply of 12V to 24V and a temperature range of -25°C to 55°C, the BOXER-8642AI is designed for continuous operation in a wide range of retail environments – even under adverse conditions such as temperature fluctuations or unstable power supply. In addition, the device has been designed to ensure that USB signals remain stable even when continuously powered on and off, with a drop rate of less than 0.1% – a result of AAEON’s in-depth expertise and rigorous testing procedures.
