POC-700 series – Next generation ultra-compact embedded controller for industrial applications

The POC-700 series from Neousys is the next generation of ultra-compact embedded controllers. Equipped with the latest Intel® Alder Lake processors – either the i3-N305 with 8 cores/8 threads and 32EUs UHD graphics or the Atom® x7425E with 4 cores/4 threads and 24EUs UHD graphics – the POC-700 series offers up to 1.3 times the CPU performance of its predecessor, the POC-500 series. These systems support Intel® OpenVINOTM for AI inference functions and utilize DDR5-4800 RAM for up to 1.8 times the memory bandwidth of DDR4, significantly increasing overall performance.

Versatile connectivity for industrial requirements

The POC-700 series impresses with a wide range of I/O interfaces, including four USB3.2 Gen2 ports and four GigE PoE+ ports with screw lock, which securely connect industrial cameras for applications such as machine vision. HDMI and DisplayPort outputs are reserved for high-resolution displays. The series also offers isolated digital inputs and outputs (DIO) for monitoring and controlling devices as well as expandable connectivity via M.2 2280 M Key for SATA SSDs and a mini PCIe socket for WiFi, LTE/5G or CAN bus devices.

Measuring just 64 x 116 x 176 mm, the POC-700 series fits effortlessly into tight spaces and offers seamless upgradeability from the POC-500 series thanks to identical dimensions. The fanless design enables operation in a wide temperature range, making the series ideal for demanding industrial environments.
