Digi PortServer® TS 4 H MEI: Serial Device Server for Demanding Industrial Environments
The Digi PortServer® TS 4 H MEI is an exceptionally rugged and industry-grade 4-port serial device server designed for demanding deployment environments. With its extended operating temperature range of –35 °C to +74 °C and hardened construction, this device is ideal for outdoor installations, utilities, traffic management systems, pipelines, and other remote industrial locations.
Featuring RS-232/422/485 interfaces, switch-selectable for maximum flexibility, the Digi PortServer® TS 4 H MEI enables seamless integration of virtually any standard serial equipment. Network connectivity is easily established through the integrated 10/100-Mbps Ethernet port.
Digi’s patented RealPort® technology allows transparent COM/TTY port redirection, ensuring that existing software applications continue to operate without modification. Security features such as SSHv2 and SSL/TLS provide encrypted and secure data communication. The device also offers convenient web-based configuration (HTTP/HTTPS), monitoring tools, and extensive diagnostic capabilities.
