Securing connected devices after their product launch is a complex task. With Digi ConnectCore® Security Services, customers are equipped with powerful tools to keep their products secure throughout their entire lifecycle.
The services offer monitoring and analysis capabilities for security risks and vulnerabilities, specifically for custom Software Bill-of-Materials (SBOMs) and binary images on Digi ConnectCore System-on-Modules (SOMs). Detailed vulnerability reports, patches for common vulnerabilities, consulting services, and support from technology partner Timesys are available for identified issues.
Additional security tools for Digi Embedded Yocto (DEY) further extend protection. The Meta-Digi security layer provides pre-integrated patches for BSPs, Linux kernels, and bootloaders. With Digi’s security tools, developers benefit from comprehensive system diagnostics, SBOM analysis, CVE monitoring, and an intelligent vulnerability database. This offers more precise information than the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) and readable reports for dissemination.
