Digi XBee® Hive Gateway – Flexible IoT Gateway for Industrial Connectivity
The Digi XBee® Hive Gateway is a flexible and powerful IoT gateway solution. It functions as both a gateway and a router. As a result, it provides a fast and cost-efficient alternative to custom developments. At the same time, it enables seamless integration into modern IoT infrastructures.
The system combines Digi XBee RF modules, Digi XBee Cellular, and the Digi ConnectCore® platform. This ensures reliable and end-to-end connectivity across a wide range of applications.
The gateway supports multiple wireless standards, including Zigbee, DigiMesh®, and 802.15.4. In addition, it operates across 2.4 GHz, 868 MHz, and 900 MHz frequency bands. Therefore, it is ideal for industrial applications such as energy, agriculture, water management, and oil & gas. It also offers LTE Cat 1, Ethernet, and optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy for maximum flexibility.
The open Python environment allows developers to create custom edge computing applications directly on the device. At the same time, Digi Remote Manager® enables centralized monitoring and management of large device fleets. In addition, it simplifies maintenance and reduces operational effort.
Digi TrustFence® ensures a high level of security. It protects device identity and enables encrypted communication. As a result, the entire IoT infrastructure remains secure.
The Digi XBee Hive Gateway provides a scalable and future-proof platform. It supports the entire IoT lifecycle, from development to deployment and operation.
