The Digi XBee® SX 868 RF module is the optimal solution for wireless connectivity applications in Europe. Operating in the 868 MHz range, the module offers the flexibility to run either a proprietary DigiMesh® or a point-to-multipoint network protocol. Equipped with a low-power microcontroller from Silicon Labs, an ADF7023 transceiver from Analog Devices and an integrated SAW filter, it sets the standard for interference rejection. The Digi XBee® SX 868 operates between 863 MHz and 870 MHz, enabling worldwide applicability, including certified European countries.

Intelligent interference management and a ready-to-use solution

Utilizing 868 MHz and surrounding frequencies, the Digi XBee® SX 868 relies on LBT + AFA (Listen Before Talk and Adaptive Frequency Agility). This significantly reduces interference by monitoring the radio environment before each transmission and automatically switching to a new channel if necessary. The patented frequency scan takes place in a few microseconds without affecting performance.
