With its advanced 5G technology, the Digi TX64 5G Rail enables high-speed connectivity for data-intensive applications in the rail sector. The enterprise-class routing, firewall functionality and integrated VPN ensure the highest security standards.
With a flexible interface design, the Digi TX64 5G Rail offers integrated Wi-Fi 6, USB, serial ports and a 4-port Ethernet switch. This versatility enables a wide range of configuration options, including GNSS with untethered dead reckoning (UDR) and support for multiple geofence options.
Security and efficient network management for railroad operations
The connection to the internet is managed securely and without interfering with the railroad control systems. State-of-the-art technologies such as 5G NR, EN DC and Carrier Aggregation enable speeds of up to Gigabit while maintaining the priority of on-board systems at all times. A proprietary portal and splash page provide opportunities for targeted messaging and the rail operator’s individual branding.
Digi Remote Manager® enables cloud-based provisioning and management, as well as secure terminal access for out-of-band management of edge devices in rail operations. Integrated FirstNet Trusted™ and Verizon Frontline support meets critical emergency management requirements.
