Digi IX25 – Rugged 5G Industrial Router for IoT and Edge Computing
The Digi IX25 is a powerful 5G industrial router designed for industrial and mission-critical applications. At the same time, the system combines secure connectivity, integrated edge computing, and modern remote management in a compact industrial housing. As a result, the router is ideal for IoT, networking, and automation environments.
The router supports 5G eMBB, 5G RedCap, and LTE connectivity. Therefore, the system enables fast and reliable data communication across public and private cellular networks. In addition, four Gigabit Ethernet ports, serial interfaces, and GNSS provide flexible integration options for industrial networks.
Optionally, the Digi IX25 also supports Wi-Fi 6E. This allows the router to integrate easily into SCADA systems, energy networks, transportation applications, and smart infrastructure environments.
The integrated edge computing platform with Digi Containers enables local execution of custom applications directly on the device. As a result, the system processes data faster while reducing dependence on cloud services. Companies therefore benefit from lower latency and improved operational efficiency.
In addition, Digi Remote Manager®, simplifies centralized device management. The platform supports configuration, monitoring, and security management for large device fleets. Consequently, administrators can manage connected systems more efficiently.
For enhanced security, the Digi IX25 includes FIPS 140-3, VPN, firewall, and Secure Boot functionality. Furthermore, the system operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +75 °C. Therefore, the router is well suited for industrial outdoor environments, energy applications, critical infrastructure, and mobile deployments.
