EKI-2728 – Industrial 8-Port Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet Switch
The EKI-2728 supports Gigabit Ethernet. The power supply is redundant at +12 ~ 48 VDC and is protected by a dual protection mechanism (Power Polarity Reverse Protect and an overload current protection). The former tolerates reverse power wiring while the latter protects the system from overload currents. Each port of the EKI-2728 has 2 LEDs to indicate connection status, transmission speed and collision status. It also has a relay output for event alarms. In the event of a power failure, the built-in LED activates the alarm to notify administrators. Technicians can easily verify the hardware status by checking the LED and have simplified and quick troubleshooting. The EKI-2728 has a compact metal housing with an IP30 rating that protects it from dusty industrial environments.
