The Centauri Storage Expansion is the latest PCIe storage solution for high-performance, modular expansion. Designed as a storage expansion for the 3U SDS, Centauri offers up to 256 TB of storage in an 8-drive canister. Tool-less removal of single or multiple drives enables quick hot-swap replacement – perfect for dynamic IT environments and edge applications. Thanks to PCIe Gen4 technology, Centauri delivers maximum data transfer rates and supports 2.5” NVMe and SATA drives to provide maximum storage performance and flexibility.
Robust, compact and ideal for edge computing
Centauri complies with MIL-STD-810G standards and is designed for use in demanding environments. With its 3U form factor, half the rack width and a depth of only 50.8 cm (20 inches), Centauri is the perfect solution for compact, robust and powerful data storage. Additional features include dynamic fan control for efficient cooling, a lightweight aluminum chassis for maximum mobility and IPMI 2.0-based system monitoring via dedicated Ethernet.
