PCIe Gen3 x16 Host-to-Target Kit (3811) – High-speed server extension
The PCIe Gen3 x16 Host-to-Target Kit (3811) enables a direct and efficient connection between a server and an I/O card. It consists of a switch-based PCIe x16 Gen3 host cable adapter, which is installed in the server, and a PCIe x16 Gen3 switch-based target cable adapter, which establishes the connection to the PCIe backplane.
Thanks to PCIe 3.0 technology, the kit achieves a high bandwidth of up to 128 Gbit/s, ensuring low latency and optimal data transfer. These features make it ideal for performance-intensive applications such as HPC, network infrastructure and data-intensive workloads.
Flexible expansion with OSS PCIe backplanes
The PCIe Gen3 x16 Host-to-Target Kit (3811) is fully compatible with OSS Expansion Backplanes, which are sold separately. This combination enables a customized system expansion where servers can be extended with additional PCIe add-in cards.
