The 8-slot PCIe Gen4 x8 backplane offers a scalable and powerful PCIe expansion solution, ideal for high performance computing (HPC), AI workloads, network infrastructure and storage solutions. It features eight PCIe x8 Gen4 slots that can be used for a variety of performance-intensive add-in cards.

In addition, the backplane includes a dedicated PCIe x16 Gen4 target slot intended for OSS target cable adapters. The architecture complies with PCIe PCI-SIG specifications to ensure stable high-speed data transfer.
