The 5-slot PCIe Gen5 x16 backplane provides a future-proof expansion solution for AI workloads, GPU acceleration, HPC and data-intensive applications. With five PCIe Gen5 x16 expansion slots, it enables maximum bandwidth for the latest high-performance add-in cards.
High-performance PCIe Gen5 x16 backplane for GPUs and high-speed add-in cards
Thanks to four dual-width slots, high-performance PCIe Gen5 x16 cards such as GPUs and AI accelerators can be easily integrated. The optimized width of the backplane allows the use of two backplanes side by side in a standard 19” rackmount housing, which enables space-saving scaling.
The PCIe Gen5 x16 backplane is connected to the host system via a PCIe x16 5.0 upstream slot and can be equipped with an OSS-PCIe-HIB732-x16 PCIe 5.0 host bus adapter. It also offers the option of bifurcation so that two upstream host bus adapters can be used. This doubles the total throughput between host and extension, ensuring maximum performance for demanding applications.
With its high-performance architecture, flexible scalability and optimized rackmount integration, the 5-slot PCIe Gen5 x16 backplane is the ideal choice for data centers, AI models, HPC and data-intensive workflows.
