The Digi XBee® 3 DigiMesh® 2.4 series redefines wireless connectivity and accelerates time to market for developers, OEMs and solution providers. These modules not only provide reliable wireless connectivity, but also enable the rapid integration of new features.
Innovative DigiMesh® technology for stable networks
The pre-certified Digi XBee® 3 modules utilize industry-leading technology and offer the flexibility to switch between different frequencies and wireless protocols. This series uses the DigiMesh® network protocol with a globally deployable 2.4 GHz transceiver. The peer-to-peer mesh network ensures network stability through self-healing, dense operation and provides an upgrade path to IEEE 802.15.4 or Zigbee mesh protocols.

- Versatile micro form factor: At 13 mm x 19 mm, the new Digi XBee® 3 micro form factor enables more compact and portable applications. Ideal for projects that require space optimization.
- Universal protocol: Digi XBee® 3 is one module for all protocols, including Zigbee®, 802.15.4, DigiMesh® and BLE. All protocols are configurable via Digi XCTU®, allowing flexible adaptation to different requirements.
- Integrated microcontroller: Eliminate the need for an external microcontroller and create intelligent end nodes with MicroPython. This feature enables robust programmability directly on the module.
- Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE): Integrated BLE for beaconing, connection to Bluetooth sensors and local configuration via the Digi XBee® Mobile app. Seamless integration of BLE functionality into wireless networks.
- Intrinsic IoT security: Digi XBee® 3 provides intrinsic IoT security through Digi TrustFence®, a multi-layered approach that secures the edge device in and out of the network via the gateway. Protect against new and evolving cyber threats.
