Digi Connect® ES 4SB Switch: Advanced security terminal server with integrated switch
The Digi Connect® ES 4SB Switch provides advanced serial connectivity over Ethernet and features an integrated switch. With four galvanically isolated RS-232 serial ports, a 10/100 Mbps network interface and an integrated Ethernet switch, this terminal server is the ultimate solution for demanding applications.

Designed for use in critical environments, the Digi Connect® ES 4SB switch meets the requirements of IEC 60601 3rd Edition. The galvanic isolation ensures enhanced electrical safety and prevents electric shocks in the event of physical contact with the device.
Seamless integration thanks to patented RealPort® technology
Digi’s patented RealPort® technology allows you to achieve seamless integration between the host and networked serial devices. Local COM or TTY ports are created on the host computer to support existing software applications without modification.
Maximum control and security for your networks
With inbound/outbound and Telnet sessions on every port, system administrators have maximum control over networked serial devices. Additional security features such as Secure Shell (SSH v2) encryption protect against unauthorized network monitoring or sniffing to ensure the confidentiality of your data.
