The Digi XBee® XR 868 RF Pad is the perfect solution for long-range wireless connectivity applications in the European region. With a compact design and pre-certified technology, this pad enables reliable wireless communication between 863 and 870 MHz according to European standards.
The pre-certified pad supports point-to-point and mesh networking protocols and impresses with a line-of-sight range of over 14 kilometers. This feature makes it particularly suitable for applications in agriculture and the energy sector, where reliable communication over long distances is crucial.
Intelligent fault management
The Digi XBee XR 868 RF Pad relies on Intelligent Interference Management by using 868 MHz and surrounding frequencies with LBT + AFA (Listen Before Talk and Adaptive Frequency Agility). This innovative technology significantly reduces interference by listening to the radio environment before each transmission and automatically switching to a new channel if necessary. The patented frequency scan takes place in a few microseconds without affecting performance.
