The Digi TX40 Series is a cost-effective and practical solution for public safety and emergency services vehicle fleets. This series breaks communication silos, seamlessly connects a growing number of devices into a fast and reliable vehicle network (VAN) and enables the digital transformation of the fleet. The latest generation wireless technology is affordable, easy to deploy and centrally managed via Digi Remote Manager®.
5G and 4G LTE-Advanced Pro technology for critical emergency communications
The Digi TX40 Series is available in 5G and 4G LTE-Advanced Pro variants with 3G fallback models, including FirstNet Capable™, Verizon Frontline support and T-Mobile Connecting Heroes. This meets the critical emergency communications needs of first responders. By providing real-time, high-definition video, the Digi TX40 Series provides critical situational awareness information to dispatchers, incident commanders and officers in the field. With 5G and Wi-Fi 6, it transmits critical information faster, farther and more reliably. The enhanced connectivity enables the integration of in-vehicle devices such as dashcams, bodycams, license plate readers, eTicket systems and mobile data computers via Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.0 and serial interfaces.
ITxPT compatibility and cyber security for reliability and safety
The Digi TX40 Series is ITxPT compliant to ensure interoperability and seamless integration with other vehicle systems. At the same time, it complies with the US government cybersecurity standard FIPS 140-2 and supports the Digi TrustFence® security framework to ensure secure use from the start and throughout its lifetime.
The Digi SAFE™ complete solution, with the optional Digi Mobile VPN value-added service, enables IT staff to traverse multiple independent networks securely. This ensures secure, uninterrupted sessions with deployed devices in the field. Highly resilient application and session persistence with mobile encryption ensures constant, secure connectivity and shortens response times to provide greater security for officers and citizens.
