Versatile applications and easy configuration
The Digi Connect® EZ Mini meets the needs of a wide range of critical serial applications. From connectivity to automation and robotic control to centralized device management, data collection and point-of-sale equipment, this solution is extremely versatile.
The click-to-connect solution allows for easy configuration, with a choice of 1, 2 or 4 serial ports that can be selected via software for RS-232/422/485 communication. Optional LTE, Wi-Fi and industrial specifications (C1D2) are available. Configuration takes just a few minutes and smart, application-specific options enable quick installation without the need to change devices or applications.
Security and programmability
Digi Connect® EZ Mini offers multiple security features and programmability. Digi TrustFence® ensures advanced access control, management features and configuration options. Encrypted connections, centralized authentication, VPN support and scalable security updates protect your systems from security threats.
The serial servers support a wide range of industry standards and device-specific protocols. With features such as serial tunneling, TCP/UDP connections and Digi’s RealPort® COM port redirector, they enable native COM port remote access. The integrated Python environment enables device-level application development, including event-based programmability and complete control over device connections. The Digi Connect® EZ Mini offers the perfect balance between modern connectivity and proven device usability.
